Volunteer Burnaby would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming BCIT Fall Volunteer Fair on Thursday October 08th, 2009. This is a reminder to those of you who have not registered for the event.

This is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the work you do, getting people signed up to volunteer, and network with other agencies. The time & location are as follows:

BCIT (Burnaby Campus)*
Location: Student Association (Great Hall)
Date: Thursday October 8th, 2009
Time: 10am - 2pm

Featuring

·         MC on microphone throughout the entire fair
·         12 Noon - two speakers will address the advantages and benefits of volunteering.
·         1:30-3pm - networking social in nearby Council Chambers (with refreshments) facilitated by Cindy Willick, open to vendors and students.
 
This year the BCIT Student Association has invited a motivational youth speaker who has a genuine & dynamic approach to speaking with other youth about community involvement & leadership skills. This will add a flair & a great interactive quality to the day's events.
