Volunteer Management: The Next Step

Course Description: Taught by experts in the non-profit sector, this six-part course gives you the chance to explore volunteer management topics at an advanced level. Even if you are an experienced voluntary sector employee, this course will teach you the skills to manage your resources, volunteers, and programs more effectively. You will learn about volunteering trends, leadership, systems, communication, capacity & skills development, and program evaluation. By including an assignment component, this course gives you the opportunity to apply the knowledge you gain from each session. In addition to this, Volunteer Management: The Next Step moves you towards CAVR certification by giving you more than half the professional development hours required for certification. This program has been designed for voluntary sector employees who have completed Introduction to Volunteer Management Training.
