We have listed some of the essential guidelines for volunteering in Canada:

• Volunteers can only volunteer with non-profit organizations or at special community events
• Volunteers cannot volunteer doing work that someone is usually paid to do 
• Volunteers should go through an application and interview process before they can begin volunteering
• Volunteers must have a criminal record check conducted by the RCMP if they are working with vulnerable groups (children, senoirs, poeple with disabilities, and at risk individuals)
